Health Connections - How To Improve Your Spiritual Health

If there were a way to enrich your awareness of and connection to your spiritual beliefs, you'd probably want to know the way, wouldn't you?
When you live with a feeling of abundance and gratitude each day, you will enjoy greater physical energy, stronger emotional health, and more fulfilling relationships. The Law of Attraction even says that a spirit of gratitude and appreciation actually creates increased wealth.
You can improve your:
- Relationship with a higher power
- Connection to other human beings and to nature
- Sense of love as the source of common connection to others spiritual intuition
- Openness to others' beliefs, respecting them even if you disagree
- Commitment to a daily spiritual practice
- Practice of servant leadership, giving of time and talents to others
Suggestions for Taking Action:
- Practice meditation. You may say that you don't really know how. You don't have to know any special technique or sit with your legs crossed. Meditation is just quieting your mind and eliminating all the distracting thoughts of work, responsibilities, to do lists. You can practice it anywhere for any amount of time. You can even practice in your car at a red light. Don't worry about the light changing - someone will let you know when it's time to go.
- Spend some time in nature. It doesn't have to be "out in the wilderness." It may be your backyard or a park. It can be in the city or in the country. We are all a part of nature - we all come from the same source. Reconnect with your source.
- Be open and respectful to other people's beliefs even though they may be different from yours. Ask yourself, "What is the opportunity in this?" You can learn something from everyone you meet.
- Read something inspirational every day. It can be a page or chapter of a book, a blog post, or an inspirational quote. You will find an abundance of positive material if you look for it.
- Choose to forgive someone for something. You do not necessarily need to tell them, but you will know in your heart that you have forgiven them.
